Google Analytics records which pages you open, the site or link that brought you here, your approximate region, your device and browser type, and links you click, such as the Google Play button. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga) to count returning visitors. Google does not give us your IP address.
Clarity records how visitors use a page: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, which we can view as heatmaps and anonymised session replays. Text you type is masked. It sets cookies (named _clck and _clsk). Microsoft may also use this usage data under its own terms, including for Microsoft Advertising.
